Podcasting delay, again.

When it rains, it pours.

I just got my car back yesterday, after a month-plus of being in the shop after having the left side roasted by bags of burning leaves. Today, the car developed a serious mechanical problem; fortunately, I was close to home at the end of the day. The residual chaos robbed me of a few chances to get a podcast of Thursday's spectacular show up, but I promise there will be one tomorrow, but probably not until late in the day.

By the way, I am disappointed in the rush to kill Saddam. But that is a moot point, it seems, as the deed has already been done.

I hope that my fears of an increase in violence - and dead American soldiers - are proven wrong.

Cloned meat! Yum Yum!!!

The FDA announced they will now allow CLONED meat and dairy to be sold for public consumption. Patrick Leahy does not fel too confortable with this, as it just may be a safety risk to millions of Americans, as do many organizations including Organic Consumers of America.
What are we to expect when lobbyists of the meat and dairy industry have more influence on the FDA than safety and health advocates. Another gift from the big business over humans school of leadrship (A.K.A today's Republican party). This is all very ironic considering Bush is terrified of stem-cell research because of "human-pig hybrids".
Let us apply "conservative logic":
cures for disease by stem cell research=BAD
cost cutting tatics for big business putting the public at risk with animal cloning= GOOD

Well I will be back on the ELPN Monday Night, Happy New Year. Enjoy the train-wreck of Ralph and his dad tonight on the air!!!

Jared

Quick programming and posting update.

It is looking like I will only have one guest tonight - my father, as advertised. I may do a shorter show than normal because of this. Depends on what news stories I find... so if anyone has suggestions, please... :)

I will definitely talk about the Afghan heroin story.

Links will be coming later this afternoon. I have work in a bit, and have to pick my car up (finally) from the repair shop.

Sorry for the podcast delay...

It's allergy time again! Joy! [/sarcasm]

Anyway, I will be putting up the End-of-Year clip review, Part 1, before I leave for the holiday weekend. Look for Part 2 after Christmas.

The ELPN wishes everyone a safe and merry Christmas!
