America's loss is Big Oil's gain

While we have been busy making sure that the oil corporations effectively steal the royalties they would pay to the Iraqi government, we've known for THREE YEARS that oil companies drilling in the US have NOT been paying their mandated royalties to the US government...

And we didn't do a damn thing about it.

ALL BUSH WANTS IS OIL COMPANY PROFIT.

Before anyone says, "Well, the Clinton administration screwed it up in the first place," I say, regardless of how it was wronged, if it is wrong, it should have been fixed by the Bush administration. By knowing about the problem, yet doing nothing about it, they must share in the responsibility. Who is more wrong - the person making the mistake, or those who know about the mistake and allow it to perpetuate?
