Bush tries to impress the press...

... right into the ground!

Bush got behind the wheel of a massive tractor at a Caterpillar plant and "crank[ed] this sucker up," warning the crowd, "I suggest moving back." He then proceeded to aim the tractor directly at the media crowd assembled for the event. Even the Secret Service had to run for their lives when our Decider-in-Chief decided he was sober enough to operate heavy machinery.

Is this what we have a president for - to play with really big "toys" at a Caterpillar factory while our military is at war?

    I'd bet that you guys couldn't even figure out how to start the thing, much less operate one. BTW, I have. If a machine operating at 7.9 mph frightens you, you need to find a nice deep hole and crawl in, then pull the hole in after you.

    We're quite proud of you that you have operated a tractor. Would you like a cookie now?

    The machine does not frighten me, but it apparently did shock the people present there. Keep in mind that 7.9MPH is approximately 2-2.7 times as fast as people walk.

    I'd imagine, too, that it would be rather difficult for the operator to see what is almost underneath the vehicle... thereby adding to the fear of getting rolled over.

    Frankly, neither of us were there. I saw the story and thought it was amusing. The Secret Service guys were worried; I think that says something.

    What your peanut brain missed is the FACT that Kerry is one of the most ANTI gun libtards in the nation. Yet as a PR ploy he goes out and starts waving a gun like he is pro gun rights. Only the dumbest of the dumb vote consistently for the left wing crowd who always lie. How many of their pledges did the dems break before they even got to office? I quit counting after six.

    Paranoia runs your life I see. Nobody is taking away your guns sheep! Regulating guns as to prevent gangs from getting gangs and accidently shooting little kids in a hale of bullets is not "taking away your guns". Democrats, all of them (with the exception of Diane Feinstein) support the right to LEGALLY have a gun. This includes Kerry. Kerry is a strong supporter of better regulaton, so you can NOT buy 400 guns in cash at a wall-mart and sell them on the street. I suppose you support the ability to sell guns illegally on the street? You are one paranoid con-sheep , Nobody (except maybe the Bush administration, who took away legal guns owned by citizens in New Orleans during Katrina) is taking away your guns., Your own party took away citizens LEGAL weapons in New Orleans, not Democrats. How easy is it to debunk right wing paranoia, fear and lies. I can do this in my sleep.
    BTW , Howard Dean ranks highest by the NRA as a protector of the second amendment. Betchaa you did not know that. If you listen to right wing radio, they lie to you, every single day. Now look at yourself, un-informed and voting against your best interest.
