On Pentagon tribunals
The Miami Herald rounds up commentary on just how wrong the Pentagon's "tribunals" meant to try (and execute) the suspected terrorists held in Guantanamo are.
Most telling is this quote, from Col. Dwight Sullivan, USMC Reserves, Chief Defense Counsel: "The rules would allow an accused to be executed based on nothing but hearsay."
This is NOT justice... at least not for a "first-world" country. This is the kind of thing we'd expect to hear about in places run by dictators. Oh, wait a minute...
"But I'm the decider!"
