CBS and the Appeal for Redress
Last night, on CBS' 60 Minutes program, a segment ran on active members of the U.S. military who oppose the war, and are taking steps to appeal to Congress. They've even started a website for military members to join their crusade.
Unlike Lt. Ehren Watada, who refused to serve in Iraq, these brave soldiers continue to serve and do not plan on reneging on their duties. However, the military ARE allowed to be critical of the war, within certain constraints, and are allowed a degree of protected discussion with members of Congress.
We support the soldiers who support the Appeal for Redress.
