Worse than a Civil War

The latest intelligence report on Iraq paints an even worse picture of the situation than we have previously read about. This brings me back to 2002, when "liberals" were warning the Bush administration that invading Iraq would lead to a "civil war". Nobody wanted to hear the realities regarding the region; those who opposed the Bush administration were labeled as "traitors" and "libtards". Now, 4 years later, we see who assessed the situation properly - it was the "libtards". Will "conservatives" ever admit they are wrong on anything? Many "conservatives" suffer from terminal stubborness.

Personally, I have never been afraid to criticize the "left" when I see it as necessary. For example, I find the whole "counter-recruitment" movement to be embarrassing. There is no need for this movement. Their whole premise is based on inaccuracies. They insist recruiters target only poor areas, which is entirely false. Recruiters visit all public schools. Recruiters are not allowed to visit private schools, so they visit public schools in all neighborhoods. This fact evades the "counter-recruiters". Fundamentally, their argument is wrong, unless they desire a country with no military. Instead of attacking the leadership of this country, these knee-jerk reactionaries attack the military.

I just wated to point this out to show to the reader that I'm not afraid to question "the left". Why can't conservatives question their own ideology? How can you better it, if you can't pick it apart????

This brings me to the next point... Even after all we learned about the failure in Iraq, Rush Limbaugh, that drug addled psycho, is still comparing the carnage in Iraq to American inner-cities, this time, Philadelphia!! Some people never learn a damn thing.
