The mainstream media downplays the importance of the US attorney scandal. ABC minimizes the implication of the events that have unfolded in the last week, Brit Hume basically mocks the whole scandal. On Imus, his guest from the National Journal downplays Senator Domenici's threatening phone call to an attorney and, of course, the "Clinton did it too" myth is spread all over the media.
