Follow-up: What $140,000 buys

If you recall, Mitchell Wade had given disgraced Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham a bribe of $140,000 as payback for getting some government contracts. We revealed a while ago that this money was paid from Dick Cheney's office to Wade's company, MZM, for "office furniture."

That money was paid for MZM to be the "mail screener" for Bush's office, to "protect against an anthrax attack," as Talking Points Memo reports.
