Even Gates disagrees with Bush and Chaney

Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates said Tuesday
The debate in Congress . . . has been helpful in demonstrating to the Iraqis that American patience is limited"........... "The strong feelings expressed in the Congress about the timetable probably has had a positive impact . . . in terms of communicating to the Iraqis that this is not an open-ended commitment."

Complete opposite of Bush who says the timestables for Iraq will result in the Iraqi civil war comming to America and total and complete chaos around the globe !!!!!

Let me guess cons: "Gates is a filthy anti-American liberal terrorist lover"
right??????

Jesus you are a fucking mental midget.

Yes, talking about the fact that we will not be there forver may open their eyes. But Gates in no way advocates that setting an artificial timeline is good. He's made that clear. Idiot.

Must you always be so stupid? Ooooppppps, stupid question.

Over your head Jenn, I see it flew right over. Bush says if we don't stay in Iraq, they will fight us here, Gates says the idea of us leaving will help Iraq, Bush says the idea of timetables emboldens the enemy. I don't hear gates reciting the retarded talking point "if we fight them over there they wont fight us over here". They are fundamentally on opposite sides of the issue... you brain dead 28%er

a Few things 29%ers can not answer
    A. What is the mission?
B what does victory look like?
    C. who is "they" when Bush talks about them fighting here. Most of the carnage is not due to Islamic terrorism, but a civil war, so is chimp saying the civil war will come here?
    D. how can we be winning a war on terror be increasing the amount of terrorism world wide? Are we in a war to create terror

Most of America wants a timeline
Most of the military wants a timeline
Iraq wants us to leave, or did you miss the "death to America" rally by our allies the Shia?

Only Big oil wants us there, because the Iraqi government has not signed the production sharing agreements. We are there for the oil agreeemts, we are going to stay until Iraq signs the agreement to privitize the oil to American oil companies and B.P.
    Simple as that

come out of denial, as much as this hurts
look in the mirror and say
    Dear America
Im sorry I support a war for a business deal, I understand we are in Iraq for a business deal, and nobody should be killed for a business deal, especially young American soldiers.

"No war for oil" it's not tin-foil hat anymore. It's a proven fact
