When in doubt... 9/11, 9/11!!!
Dana Perino is in over her head.
Obviously, Tony Snow's advice to her was, "When in doubt, just say it's because of September 11th." Unfortunately, this isn't going to work for everything, and especially not when Helen Thomas is asking the question.
Also on ThinkProgress' page: Perino calls Jon Stewart "Don Stewart," when she steals a joke from him.
At least Tony Snow can bullshit. Perino has no control over the room at all.
