The Bush crime family rolls along - subpoenas issued and ignored!

Yesterday: NY Times:

The Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday issued subpoenas to the White House, Vice President Dick Cheney’s office and the Justice Department after what the panel’s chairman called “stonewalling of the worst kind” of efforts to investigate the National Security Agency’s policy of wiretapping without warrants.

I wonder if these subpoenas will be denied just like the other ones....

It may not work this time, as this subpoena is regarding a CRIME, according to law professor Jonathan Turley. (edit) ThinkProgress has more on the Bush crime family's refusal to answer the subpoenas.

President Bush, moving toward a constitutional showdown with Congress, asserted executive privilege Thursday and rejected lawmakers' demands for documents that could shed light on the firings of federal prosecutors. Bush's attorney told Congress the White House would not turn over subpoenaed documents for former presidential counsel Harriet Miers and former political director Sara Taylor.

These freaks seriously think they are above the law...

Speaking about breaking the law, Dick Cheney is under heavy attack for his statements regarding the V.P not being part of the executive branch. This is a flip-flop; in the past, Cheney has stated he is part of the executive branch whenever he claims "executive privilege". Remember the secret energy meetings? Here is another time Cheney stated he was part of the executive branch as well.

Democrats are not going to stand for Cheney's new lies about the "executive branch", Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-IL) decided to have a vote to defund Cheney's office, since he is not part of the executive branch. The vote will be later today, look for an update on this site!!!

Sadly some neo-con freaks are still part of the Dick fan club such as Jonah Goldberg from that rag The National Review!

The MSM is doing their best to ignore all of these issues and focus on Paris Hilton; the most complicit MSM outlet is no longer FOX news but rather CNN!!! Some liberal media we have!

I would not be shocked if there are impeachment hearings and the MSM decides not to cover them! I hear Lindsey Lohan's father is getting out of jail! Stop the presses!!!
