We saw this in the 2006 race for senator from Tennessee; Harold Ford, Jr., the Democratic candidate, was the victim of an advertisement that alleged he was messing around with a white girl at a Super Bowl party.

Now, we have... "Obama Girl." Seriously. Obama Girl.

Incredibly, this has led one "journalist" to believe that he's not sure what the Obama campaign would want him to cover. It's as if the MSM will NOT cover anything relating to policy at all when it comes to Democrats!!! We have: "people prefer Laura Bush to Hillary Clinton," "Hillary is not feminine enough," "John Edwards gets $400 haircuts - he's the Breck girl," "Edwards' wife's cancer will affect his ability to lead America," "Obama went to a madrassa and his middle name is Hussein," "Obama's wife will be like Hillary was," and now... this. I'm fairly certain that the singer of "Obama Girl" is actually NOT a fan of Sen. Obama. The "singer" in the video is lip-synching; apparently, she is not the actual singer.

In any case, we rarely hear about policy matters regarding GOP candidates either; however, they are, to a man, referred to as "tough" and "manly" and "good leaders."
