If you can't fight, we don't care about you!

That's what the Bush administration says to wounded and sick soldiers returning from this illegal occupation of a nation for its oil.

A task-force study finds that the military's mental health services for returning veterans is poor, and suggests that the military bring in more staff to improve those services. This situation is made worse by the fact that we're sending troops back for second/third/fourth tours. Walter Reed is still a focal point, as the Washington Post points out: Considering that it is a major stopping point for disabled soldiers returning to the states, it should have a dedicated PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) department, as many other Army facilities do.

A report in Stars and Stripes shows that younger disabled veterans of the Iraq occupation are being shorted when it comes to receiving disability money.

Still more to come.
