Voter caging: Another crime of the Bush regime
Deputy Attorney General Paul McNulty testified today regarding voter caging today in addition to questions about his role in the attorney firings. John Conyers asked him questions about the issue and McNulty's knowledge of it including his knowledge of the Greg Palaste article(which first exposed the voter supression tatic known as caging) Look for exclusive hearings regarding Tim Griffin and Voter Caging, Boston globe, reports
If it was not for the Gonzales scandal we would have never seen this issue being discussed under the Judiciary committee.... The impact of the Voter caging accusations and the fact that Bush violated the presidential records act (as we covered in an earlier post) sounds like 2 sound criminal activities, and enough for impeachment. Voter suppression is a subversion of the constitution and democracy and the clear violation of the presidential records act are impeachable criminal acts!!!!
UPDATE: This site has some clips of the testimony!! Regarding the attorney firings, and vote caging
