Bedtime for Gone-zo
As a political appointee, when members of your own party can no longer publicly support you, it must be time for you to be prepared to vacate your office. The best he can get is a former official stating that Gonzales is "splitting hairs" with his testimony regarding what the spying programs covered (data mining or eavesdropping?). The former official goes on to say that he "would not have said what [Gonzales] said" regarding the details of the program. Rep. Jay Inslee (D-WA) has introduced articles of impeachment against Gonzales... although they won't be acted on until the Congress re-convenes later this month.

The FBI reports that, since Director Robert Mueller's testimony (which contradicted Gonzo and opened up the potential for his impeachment) to the House last week, the DoJ has suddenly grown "cold" towards the FBI. Why would they do that? I wonder...
