A national disgrace

Police at the University of Florida arrested and tasered 21-year-old journalism student Andrew Meyer for ASKING A QUESTION.

Every officer involved should be FIRED and any administration members OKing the arrest should be FIRED and all of the above should be SUED.

Yet another piece of America died right there.

I have found three videos of the incident. Each makes me want to cry and scream. I give much credit to this young man, because, were I in his position, I would have gone down fighting so hard that the cops may have had to do more than taser me. I want to kick each cop's ass just watching how they treated the guy. There is more anger in me than I have felt in a LONG time.

This video and this video show the question and the events in the hall from different sides. This video shows the events in the hall and outside the hall, where he was accused of "inciting a riot." I fail to see how this man's actions incited a riot in the place - that crowd was so docile that even the cops trampling on an American's civil rights did not inspire a riot!!!
