More on the Swift-boating of Pelosi

Daily Kos reports on the Republican Jewish coliation, the hit squad who recently ran a nation wide smear ad on cable TV about the Pelosi visit to Syria.
Not only do they have ties to the Swift-boar liars, they are also directly connected to the White House, their board includes Ken Mehlman, surprise!!!!!!!!

Imus unemployed!

CBS Radio has fired Don Imus, after many of his sponsors dropped him for his retarded and insensitive comments about the Rutgers women's basketball team.

I was never a fan of his program; I always found his humor alternatingly sophomoric and corny, though I will admit he has done some fantastic charitable work. However, his show always teetered on the edge of such a disastrous comment, and this was clearly the last straw. He attacked people who didn't deserve attacking, whose lives were not in the "public eye" and thus open to scrutiny, and who are very much NOT what he described them to be.

Also, it's not as if firing someone from a media position for racially insensitive comments is unprecedented (cf. Jimmy "the Greek"'s comments re: black athletes, Rush Limbaugh's comments re: Donovan McNabb).

Sad to see you go, but you deserved it. There are plenty of others who deserve to be fired (see Savage Weiner, Glenn Beck, etc.), but their time will come.

More on e-mail-gate

Thinkprogress reports that as many as 50 White House staffers - including Karl Rove - have used non-official e-mail accounts in their official capacities. In fact, they've been encouraged to use both their official and unofficial accounts in doing business, to the level that one staffer actually stopped using his unofficial account because it was too confusing to keep his e-mails straight.

Dana Perino, in another in-over-her-head moment, said a few weeks ago that only a "handful" of staffers were doing this. Of course, she had to retract that lie - oh, wait, she claims she spoke without knowing the truth. Right.

In an unsurprising - and eerily familiar (cf. Nixon's missing 18 minutes of tapes) - turn of events, suddenly many of those emails have gone missing! Oops, did I delete everything off the server? Sen. Patrick Leahy (a new ELPN hero) points out that this is the Bush administration's attempt at a "the dog ate my homework" defense - in other words, this is completely indefensible!!! Iraqi workers are on to the Bush oil scam

The Iraqi Federation of Oil Unions is not too happy with the production sharing agreements the Bush administration planned to use to suck Iraq dry of their main revenue source. They are threatening a strike if the PSA's are enacted. This would cripple Iraq.

It appears that the Iraqi people are aware of the Production sharing agreements and are not happy about this kind of theft.

The oil will directly be responsible for the deaths of more Americans.

The New York Times reports that the GOP allegations of widespread and coordinated voter fraud in federal elections are baseless! Although, in fairness, this isn't counting the voter fraud that happened in Florida and Ohio in the past two federal elections, as no one has officially been charged with it!

They have found that many cases of fraudulent voting by voters themselves were honest accidents. Voter fraud cases by election officials were overwhelmingly vote-buying schemes in local contests (and, seemingly, more often by Democrats).

The myth of voter fraud is shattered! The GOP only yell "voter fraud" in order to enact laws that will LIMIT Americans' ability to cast ballots freely and fairly! They know that, the higher the voter turnout is, the more likely that they will LOSE!

Terrorism is on the rise - thanks to Bush!

Things are really getting better, McCain? Really? These reports beg to differ:

The Green Zone, supposedly the "safe haven" within Iraq, was penetrated by a suicide bomber, who managed to blow himself up in the cafeteria of the Iraqi Parliament building!

Iraqis are begging the Red Cross to find some way to get the dead bodies picked up off the streets. However, ambulance drivers are being threatened with death if they take the bodies away.

Meanwhile, in the "War on Terror," al-Qaeda has bombed the prime minister's headquarters and a police base in Algeria, and four suicide bombers were killed in Morocco after confronted by police there.

In Great Britain, both the Oxford Research Group and Oxfam have concluded that the occupation of Iraq has done more to foster terrorism than to weaken it. Iran, Syria, and North Korea have become emboldened, and the Taliban is coming back up in Afghanistan. In addition to other global factors - climate change, economic destabilization, and dwindling natural resources, amongst others - both groups conclude that the world is heading for major trouble if we do not address such matters swiftly.

Release the emails you filthy bastards

Everything is coming back to haunt this sick administration. These freaks were so high on power, they never envisioned that all their little tricks would be exposed. They figured, with the help of RNC-approved-and-trained talk show hosts, they would have kept the House and Senate in 2006... but it backfired.

It turns out they are breaking the law. The Presidential Records Act does not allow official government business to be conducted without a paper trail.

Florida University recently turned down the freak Jeb Bush for an honorary degree; as a result, legislation was put in play to name the school of education at the university after him!

If Congress won't act, Americans must rise up, get off their asses, remove themselves from the television, and practice JUSTICE. Remember what happened to Mussolini when the Italian people declared him an enemy of the people? JUSTICE took place!

Donald Vance, a former Navy Soldier and provate contractoe wass tortured by American soldiers after being arrested at an Iraqi weapons firm called Shield Group Security who were selling weapons to the insurgency in IRaq. The disgusting part of this is Vance was working as a unpaid informant for the FBI looking into this firm selling of guns to the insurgents killing American soldiers. After this was revealed, he was tortured!! Seems to me the American government wants the nsurgency to continue....
