Some hack bobblehead declares "Claim to combat because of 9-11"!!! Yep, posing for photo-ops is the same as fighting on a battlefield with RPG's and machine guns!!!!! Sadly Keith Olberman did not counter this utter hackery.

It is amazing how these bobbleheads have careers! How do people the mentally handicapped get on television and become experts on politics? Does it have something to do with knee-pads and being under a desk of top media executives?

What's wrong with Hillary, anyway?

Bay Buchanan is no psychoanalyst, though this did not stop her from diagnosing Sen. Hillary Clinton - presumably from afar - with "narcissistic personality... disorder" and a "debilitating... lack of confidence and self-esteem."

This is just another in a long line of Republican hacks thinking they have some magical powers of medical diagnosis that they can figure out what's wrong with someone with no medical experience and little-to-no first-hand knowledge of the "patient."

Christie Todd Whitman, former Bush-appointed head of the EPA (and, prior to that, governor of America's armpit, AKA the United Chemical Plants of New Jersey), is refusing to testify in front of a House subcommittee investigating the federal response to 9/11. Specifically, they want to know what possessed her to declare the air surrounding Ground Zero to be "safe" enough that cleanup workers did not need any special protections. Many of these cleanup workers are now coming down with illnesses clearly and directly linked to the air at Ground Zero.

In fact, six of these workers are highlighted in Michael Moore's upcoming film, "Sicko," about the state of America's health care system. Moore took them to Cuba to highlight the difference between their health care system and ours. The Bush administration is looking to sue him for going to Cuba; Moore is investigating their investigation (go go FOIA requests).

The nominee to be the head of the Consumer Product Safety Commission is... Michael Baroody! Don't know who he is? Oh, he was only the senior lobbyist for the National Association of Manufacturers! Just another case of the well-paid inmates running the asylum!

According to that asshat Glenn Beck, the Democrats' plan for redeploying troops in Iraq is tantamount to saying that the US is "weak and pathetic... losers and, you know, girl-fighters." Most of the women I know could easily kick his ass without breaking a sweat. Sometimes, I wonder what kind of problem Beck has with women... and then I realize that he probably wishes he was one.

Bush supports the troops? Hell no!

The Bush administration has deemed a 3.5% pay raise for our soldiers "unnecessary." These young men and women deserve far more than they are getting for putting their lives on the line in this ill-advised, corporate-profit-driven occupation! The administration wants only a 3% increase. What is so hard, Mr. Bush, you vampiric degenerate subhuman freak, about an extra .5% for the people who are "fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them over here," eh?

Bush also opposed making an executive order regarding flying American flags at half-staff in states where a soldier died in Iraq; the House has taken up the cause. Anything to make sure that John Q. Public has NO IDEA that soldiers are dying in this occupation!!!

Wiretapping controversy is back !

When John Ashcroft was extremely ill and confined to a hospital bed, James B. Comey was appointed the acting Attorney General. During this period, Comey declared warrantless wire-tapping to be illegal, and Ashcroft was aware of its illegal status. Alberto Gonzales (then White House counsel) and Andrew Card (then Chief of Staff), went to the hospital (against Ashcroft's wife's wishes for Ashcroft to have no visitors) to pressure him into allowing the warrantless wiretapping!

These freaks stopped at nothing to violate our privacy and civil liberties, even shaking down a seriously ill John Ashcroft.

They are criminals! If you support this administration, I consider you a degenerate, immoral, and seriously disturbed individual, and I will say it to your face, in fact spit it in your face. I despise you filthy Bush apologists - all 28% of you!

Podcasting will be a little light for the next few weeks; besides my incredibly busy work schedule, I am also in the process of moving, so my free time is incredibly limited.

Ron Paul (the only "conservative" out of the 10 candidates) gets attacked by Chris Wallace. Because Paul has a different viewpoint than the rest of the GOP slimeballs, Wallace wonders "if Paul is running for the right party."

Ron Paul speaks the truth regarding why Osama hates America (our Middle East policy); the filthy fascist Rudy responds by calling Paul's view "unheard of" and remarking that "they hate us for our freedoms." The mainstream media is using this pathetic display of RNC talking points to boost Rudy's popularity. Look at this digusting article in the New York Daily News. The sorry MSM is painting this exchange as some great "victory" for Rudy!

In another disgusting exchange, the candidates discuss torture; when Mitt Romney proudly declares, "I would double Guantanamo," the zombie cons in the audience wildly applaud. I would love to take each and every con in the audience and ship them to Guantanamo. The audience at this debate are a bunch of filth who do not deserve this great nation; these Republicans are anti-American freaks.

In another exchange Tancredo and Rudy both proudly support "water boarding." Why do these people hate the troops? Why do these freaks want to increase terrorism by using torture to inflame the entire Muslim world?

Also, the media heap praise on Mike Huckabee for taking a cheap shot at Sen. Edwards, saying that "Congress [has] spent money like John Edwards at a beauty shop."

Rudy uses the Ft. Dix "Islamo-hackists" (the wannabe terrorists) as a reason why we must "fight them there so they don't follow us here!" Later that evening, Alan Colmes calls him out for these comments; Rudy sputters and becomes completely incoherent.

An MSNBC poll puts Ron Paul way ahead of the other candidates, yet the MSM is still ignoring him and kissing the Rudy ass! Just as pathetic for Rudy, in the Fox viewers poll of those who watched the debate , Ron Paul finished second with 25% of the vote and Rudy third with 19%. Mitt Romney won with $% more than Ron Paul, Fox news naturally made the results for this poll very hard to notice on their web site! Astonishing! The media portrays Rudy as the hero of the debate, and he looses both polls that were taken about this debate!

Rupert Murdoch - hypocrite? Buying off his guilt?

According to the bobbleheads on his own news network, Murdoch is a hypocrite who has fallen for a sham that enables rich liberals to buy off their guilt for causing global warming.

That's right - Murdoch plans to make the entire FOX operation - including Faux News - carbon-neutral by 2010!!! He will reduce emissions as much as possible, and buy carbon offsets to make up the difference.

Paul Wolfowitz' days as the head of the World Bank are clearly numbered.

The World Bank's own study shows that Wolfie violated ethics and governance rules in upgrading his girlfriend's job at the Bank. He responded with an expletive-laden tirade, saying, "If they fuck with me or Shaha, I have enough on them to fuck them too."

Well, this has led the White House to back off its full, unwavering support of Wolfowitz. Wolfie's doing a heck of a job...

Our thoughts and well-wishes go out to the Rev. Jerry Falwell, who was found unresponsive in his office early this afternoon.

Regardless of our personal distaste for what the man stands for, he is a human being and, thus, deserving of our sympathy during this health crisis.

It's too bad for Bush, though, that George Tenet will now cooperate with a Congressional investigation into the Niger uranium document - that fraudulent paper that launched this country into its occupation of Iraq.

Monica Goodling blocked the promotion of Robin Ashton, an experienced prosecutor at the Department of Justice because of politics! Ashton was told "she believes you’re a Democrat and doesn’t feel you can be trusted." Goodling also adopted the practice of offering de facto political litmus tests to applicants to civil service level positions within the DoJ, asking them "Who is your favorite president?", and "Who is your favorite Supreme Court Justice?" She also disapproved of hires if they did so much as intern for a Democratic representative or judge! We cannot wait to hear this woman's immune testimony!

A fired US Attorney from West Virginia now finds himself questioning his own abrupt firing, a process which ended with a letter from Harriet Miers informing him that he was, indeed, fired. Interestingly, this guy seems like he was a loyal Bushie - perhaps, though, only up until 2005. Investigate a neo-con bastard, get fired: the policy of the Bush/Gonzales DoJ!!!

The Legal Times warns Bush and Gone-zo not to consider themselves "victorious" (of defrauding the American people and politicizing the DoJ?) until after Goodling testifies.

Now, I'm sure this makes the thousands of voters scrubbed off the ballots for the last 6 years happy.

Where was the FBI for those soldiers overseas who were removed from voter lists because they were overseas instead of at their place of residence? Where was the FBI when people with the same name as someone incarcerated were stopped from voting? Where was the FBI when you registered as a Democrat in certain areas of Ohio and your registration was tossed in the trash?

I guess if you are a revolting whore who prostitutes herself for the GOP, you can get away with anything you want.

Neo-con paradise: The experiment starts in Iraq

The Washington Post reports:

Paul Brinkley, a deputy undersecretary of defense, has been called a Stalinist by U.S. diplomats in Iraq. One has even accused him of helping insurgents build better bombs. The State Department has taken the unusual step of enlisting the CIA to dispute the validity of Brinkley's work!

His transgression? He wants to begin reopening dozens of government-owned factories in Iraq.

Brinkley and his colleagues at the Pentagon believe that rehabilitating shuttered, state-run enterprises could reduce violence by employing tens of thousands of Iraqis. Officials at State counter that the initiative is antithetical to free-market reforms the United States should promote in Iraq.

You can't make this stuff up! Neo-cons are running an experiment in Iraq: the laissez-faire dream of a fully free market society, with no government jobs, assistance or regulation. One can conclude that what is happening in Iraq would be the neo-con pipe dream for America. They would love to eliminate government jobs and union jobs. This is the neo-con agenda: an anti-worker, anti-family, anti-middle class ideology. They would love a immobile caste system in America. They are pushing for their utopia in Iraq; the next logical step would be to bring their new vision of capitalism to America.

The NY Times reports how Rudy Giuliani's 9/11 legacy is tainted by illness and cancer as a result of Rudy's public relations rush to clean up Ground Zero. Will broadcast journalism inform the vast majority of Americans who don't read the Times about these issues, or will they continue to campaign for this scumbag?

Giuliani recently snubbed a small farm where he was supposed to hold a campaign rally. The reason? The farm was not worth enough money for him to waste his time with, as he was campaigning on the "death tax" issue. This filthy bastard only cares about the rich, just like his hero, George W. Bush.

I wonder if the bobbleheads on the TV will mention this little incident?

New Yorkers know better than to trust this filth in the White House. A Daily News poll of New Yorkers put Giuliani against current Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and Bloomberg was considered a better candidate for president, and a better mayor, by a huge margin. New York understnads what a fraud and fascist degenerate Rudy is, let's hope the rest of this great nation follows the trend!

Has the mainstream media lost their minds?

Retired General John Batiste has been quite vocal about the Iraqi War; after appearing on the votevets anti-"stay the course" commercial, he found himself out of his job as a CBS news consultant. According to the VP of CBS, "the viewer might get the feeling everything he says is anti-Bush." CBS also claims Batiste violates their standard of having no advocates on their staff.

Funny thing is, Nicole Wallace is the former communications director for the White House; she now works for CBS and has advocated for and spoken direct Republican talking points as a CBS correspondent. Michael O'Hanlon also works for CBS, and has advocated for the "surge." We can conclude advocacy only is considered advocacy by CBS's standards if the message questions the president.

CBS has not only been busy silencing voices against the Iraq War, they have also been shaking in their boots even since the Don Imus incident, and are now firing low brow "shock jocks" for their off-color humor. The Imus firing had its merits, considering Imus's status as almost a "political roundtable"-like talk show host, and the fact that the victims of his racist tirade were college basketball players. On the other hand, the firings of "JV & Elvis" for Chinese restaurant prank phone calls, and "Opie and Anthony" coming under scrutiny for tasteless sexual jokes about Laura Bush and Condi Rice on their X-rated satellite radio show is now getting out of control. As low brow and as stupid as these remarks were, the context of them being comedians and "shock jocks" puts it into perspective. These hosts don't have senators and the Vice President on their programs, like Imus; their job is to deliver sexual innuendo and off-color humor. Some of it may be offensive. You, the reader, may be surprised to know Ralph and I are firmly against "political correctness" attacks on radio, cinema, and the arts in general. (From Ralph: It is the essence of liberal thinking to protect all freedom of speech in the arts, even if we are not fans of it, and especially if we disapprove of it.)

We are in support of demanding accountability and accuracy in news reporting, and exposing right-wing talk show hosts for the filthy liars and irrational idiots they really are. Their context of speech demands to be held accountable; they are delivering the "news" and opinion whether it be a bobble-head on Fox or a Hannity on the radio. Every word they spout is taken as "gospel" by their viewers and listeners. Shock jocks, on the other hand, are good for giggles for those who desire low brow humor. Instead of attacking comedy, the media should be monitoring propaganda and deception. Considering the Republican agenda helps big media conglomerates, this is highly unlikely.

What will be left? A humorless mass media, propagating radical neo-conservative ideology.

I normally have respect for Al Sharpton, but his attack againt the immature "shock jocks" misses the big picture. The attention should be focused on the lies, deception and real hate speech from the right wing as opposed to adolescent sex jokes and mocking prank calls from "shock jocks."
