Political compass quiz!

Recently Political compass figured out by their questionaire on politics (the vosem chart) where all the candidates stand ideologically, liberal, conservative, fascist, etc. Play along with us tonight on the radio, click here to take the quiz

Clergy being trained for martial law!!!

Clergy Response Teams are being trained by the federal government to "quell dissent" and pacify citizens to obey the government in the event of a declaration of martial law.

Maybe there won'be elections after all. Just what are these sick, degenerate freaks planning in the next few months? Training clergy to calm dissent during martial law? Sounds to me, martial law is something we all have to look foward to pretty soon.

Bush administration's next move towards Iran

Washington post reports:
The United States has decided to designate Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps, the country's 125,000-strong elite military branch, as a "specially designated global terrorist," according to U.S. officials, a move that allows Washington to target the group's business operations and finances.

Sounds lgeo-politcal move designed to inch us closer to the next war........

Washington arming the extremists

Newsweek reports how Islamic extremists are ending up with Glock 9mm that were supposed to be going to the Iraqi armed forces! Incompetence or deliberate actions? I tend to think the later, as armed Islamic extremists are good for business after all, armed terrorists gives us a reason to forever remain in the Middle East.

G.O.P planning on spinning the Petraeus report.

The Washington Post reports:
Senior congressional aides said yesterday that the White House has proposed limiting the much-anticipated appearance on Capitol Hill next month of Gen. David H. Petraeus and Ambassador Ryan C. Crocker to a private congressional briefing, suggesting instead that the Bush administration's progress report on the Iraq war should be delivered to Congress by the secretaries of state and defense. LA Times ran a similiar story.

So in other words it appears the Bush administration wants to shied the full report on Iraqi progress. The Republicans are using this war as a political tool, simple as that.

Running Late

Be on at 10:05 or so.

Bits on Iraq:

Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY) talks about why this occupation of Iraq will not end until there is a military draft. The draft issue is on the table again, according to our "war czar," Gen. Douglas Lute.

Want to hear Dick Cheney sound like an unpatriotic, granola-eating liberal? Listen to what he said about toppling Saddam's regime - in 1994!!! What happened, Dick? Halliburton money change your mind some?

Karl Rove: Destroyed the Republican party!!

So Karl Rove is leaving from his position as political strategist for the Bush regime at the end of August. The media will now begin its chant of "He was a genius!" for the next several days. Thinkprogress.org compiled this morning's barrage of Karl Rove ass-kissing by the mainstream media. Regardless of all the dirty little tricks which sometimes worked against the Democrats and the 2004 election (which was all Rove), in the long term, Rove just may have destroyed the Republican party.
Rove ended up dividing the Republican party and their supporters by isolating the moderates and others who had ideas or policies adverse to the Bush administration. Ronald Brownstein has a good piece in the LA Times explaining the broken and deeply divided Republican party. The radical right have divided this nation and they have also divided the Republicans themselves.

As a liberal, I say thank you to Karl Rove. Your plan for a Republican hundred-year empire may have backfired in your face.

Extra goodies on Rove:
Dana Perino: I'll miss Ice Cream Fridays!
FOX News: Does Rove's retirement bode ill for Wall Street?

Sen. Leahy and Rep. Conyers plan on continuing their investigations into Rove's role in the firings of the US Attorneys.
Former Ambassador Joe Wilson also had a few words about the man who may have orchestrated the Plame leak.

Rudy: sticks foot in mouth, angers 9-11 rescue workers

Rudy Giuliani recently dug himself into a hole after going on camera in response to 9-11 rescue worker's criticism of health policies regarding sick 9-11 workers. Hr.1638, is a new proposal for a comprehensive health care package for these sick rescue workers. Michael Moore and The Weinstein Company held a fundraiser raising financial support for workers not currently receiving health coverage for their sickness obtained from the 9-11 rescue efforts. Rudy's response to all of this:
"I was at ground zero as often, if not more, than most of the workers…in that sense, I’m one of them.”

In other words....... "Shut up stop whining, I don't care that your sick, if you can't afford to take care of yourself too bad, if your lucky you might get a little tax cut"

These comments drew harsh criticism from all over the place. Various N.Y workers, including paramedics, the NYC Police detective Endowment association and Uniformed Fire Officers Association in New York. The N.Y daily news (normally Giuliani backers) ran a story on this issue including Rudy's campaign response to the criticism of the insulting remarks:

"Americans saw Rudy's performance for themselves during the aftermath of 9/11 and will dismiss this as the ridiculous and partisan rantings of a Democratic front group, because that's what they are."

With this dirty opportunist, it is always about the Democrats, never his own remarks and actions. In his eyes, these are not sick heros, who helped rescue people on America's darkest day and worked for months at the disaster site. They questioned what Benito Giuliani had to say so naturally their voice is nothing but a Democratic party front group, they have no legit grievances, they attacked a Republican, therefore they are bad bad bad!!!

Here are comments from rescue workers in response to Rudy, Johm Graham and Reggie Cerventes, from You-Tube. Not too happy, obviously.

The sleaze ball opportunist, fascist, little freak appeared on that hack Mike Gallagher's radio show to make the comments go away! Audio of the appearance here on observer.com

Nobody makes me sicker than Giuliani...

Neo-con hack "we need another 9-11" !!

An astoningshly insane op-ed appeared on Philly..com by Stu Bykofsky. Bkyofsky tries to argue that America has forgotten who the enemy is and another attack would unify us all against the Islamo-fascists!!
You would think this guy was lucky to even have this garbage published let alone taken seriously... The Drudge report put his op-ed on the top center of their home page!! Right wing hack Mike Gallagher (on the same day he had Guiliani on) interviewed this neo-con filth, and FOX news had this freak on John Gibson. Here is Bykofsky's article being talked about on on Fox and Friends

How can a conservative look you in the eye and say "I'm a patriot", when their ideology is espousing such insane ideas!! America needs another attack? Somehow the "liberals" are the traitors? Until conservatives stand up against the radical voices on the right, and demand that conservative media outlets like Fox News and talk radio stop allowing these freaks to represent the right, we will assume that this is what the modern conservative believes.

Conservaives are so busy attacking the DailyKos that their own side is being represented by radical Anti-American freaks who support another terror attack on America and they they take this freak on as a guest? I conclude conservatives don't hate the terrorists, they LOVE the terrorists.

Rolling back the GI Bill....

The historic 1944 G.I. Bill, put more than eight million U.S. soldiers through college. Republicans of course have gradually eroded the GI bill. Under the current law, passed in 1985, veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan can expect Uncle Sam to cover only 75 percent of their tuition costs.

A Recent attempt to fully restore the GI Bill being lead by Jim Webb ( D- Virginia) is being aggressively fought by the "support the troops" Bush administration.

Got to love that Republican support of the troops!
